EN: Hypertension
JA: 高血圧症

Dosage and Administration / 用法用量

EN: Usual adult dose: 10 to 20mg of olmesartan medoxomil orally once daily. Initiate at 5 to 10mg once daily; adjust according to age and condition. Maximum daily dose: 40mg.
JA: 通常、成人にはオルメサルタン メドキソミルとして10～20mgを1日1回経口投与する。なお、1日5～10mgから投与を開始し、年齢、症状により適宜増減するが、1日最大投与量は40mgまでとする。

Contraindications / 禁忌

EN: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any component of this product; pregnant women or women who may be pregnant; diabetic patients receiving aliskiren fumarate (except those with markedly uncontrolled blood pressure despite other antihypertensive treatment).
JA: 本剤の成分に対し過敏症の既往歴のある患者、妊婦又は妊娠している可能性のある女性、アリスキレンフマル酸塩を投与中の糖尿病患者（ただし、他の降圧治療を行ってもなお血圧のコントロールが著しく不良の患者を除く）
