Indications / 効能効果

EN: Amenorrhea, menstrual cycle disorders (oligomenorrhea, polymenorrhea), menstrual volume abnormalities (hypomenorrhea, hypermenorrhea), dysmenorrhea, functional uterine bleeding, uterine hypoplasia, ovarian deficiency symptoms, menopausal disorders, infertility
JA: 無月経、月経周期異常（稀発月経・多発月経）、月経量異常（過少月経・過多月経）、月経困難症、機能性子宮出血、子宮発育不全症、卵巣欠落症状、更年期障害、不妊症

Dosage and Administration / 用法用量

EN: As estradiol valerate, the usual adult dose is 5 to 10 mg administered by intramuscular injection once every 1 to 4 weeks. The dose may be adjusted as appropriate according to symptoms.
JA: エストラジオール吉草酸エステルとして、通常成人1回5～10mgを1～4週間毎に筋肉内注射する。なお、症状により適宜増減する。

Contraindications / 禁忌

EN: Patients with or suspected of having estrogen-dependent malignant tumors (e.g., breast cancer, endometrial cancer); patients with a history of breast cancer; patients with untreated endometrial hyperplasia; patients with thrombophlebitis or pulmonary embolism or a history thereof; patients with arterial thromboembolic disease (e.g., coronary artery disease, stroke) or a history thereof; patients with severe hepatic impairment; patients with abnormal genital bleeding of unconfirmed diagnosis; pregnant women or women who may be pregnant
JA: エストロゲン依存性悪性腫瘍（乳癌、子宮内膜癌）及びその疑いのある患者、乳癌の既往歴のある患者、未治療の子宮内膜増殖症のある患者、血栓性静脈炎や肺塞栓症の患者又はその既往歴のある患者、動脈性の血栓塞栓疾患（冠動脈性心疾患、脳卒中）又はその既往歴のある患者、重篤な肝障害のある患者、診断の確定していない異常性器出血のある患者、妊婦又は妊娠している可能性のある女性
