Indications / 効能効果
EN: 1. Prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency (scurvy, Moeller-Barlow disease).
2. Supplementation when vitamin C demand is increased and dietary intake is insufficient (debilitating diseases, pregnant/nursing women, heavy physical labor, etc.).
3. The following conditions in which vitamin C deficiency or metabolic disorder is presumed to be involved:
1) Capillary hemorrhage (nosebleed, gingival bleeding, hematuria, etc.)
2) Drug intoxication
3) Adrenocortical dysfunction
4) Promotion of bone matrix formation and bone healing in fractures
5) Melasma, freckles, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
6) Photosensitive dermatitis
Note: Should not be used indiscriminately for months without effect for indication 3.
JA: 1. ビタミンC欠乏症の予防および治療（壊血病、メルレル・バロー病）
2. ビタミンCの需要が増大し、食事からの摂取が不十分な際の補給（消耗性疾患、妊産婦、授乳婦、はげしい肉体労働時など）
3. 下記疾患のうち、ビタミンCの欠乏又は代謝障害が関与すると推定される場合
1）毛細管出血（鼻出血、歯肉出血、血尿など）
2）薬物中毒
3）副腎皮質機能障害
4）骨折時の骨基質形成・骨癒合促進
5）肝斑・雀卵斑・炎症後の色素沈着
6）光線過敏性皮膚炎
3.の適応に対して、効果がないのに月余にわたって漫然と使用すべきでない。
Dosage and Administration / 用法用量
EN: As ascorbic acid, the usual adult dose is 50–2,000mg per day administered by intravenous injection in 1 to several divided doses. Adjust as appropriate based on age and symptoms.
JA: アスコルビン酸として、通常、成人1日50～2,000mgを1～数回に分けて静脈内注射する。なお、年齢、症状により適宜増減する。
Contraindications / 禁忌
EN: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any component of this product.
JA: 本剤の成分に対し過敏症の既往歴のある患者
